當地業者指出，即便川普真如他威脅的那樣對中國產品加徵關稅，在深圳如今對電子產品的設計、生產及出貨效率很高的優勢下，他們認為深圳的業者仍能在競爭中勝過美國。

面對美國準總統川普威脅要把美國企業遷回美國，做為蘋果等美企代工大本營的深圳卻顯得相當淡定。美國《華爾街日報》指出，在深圳工廠看來，帶領深圳繁榮的經濟力量太強大，根本不可能倒退回去，相對於川普的威脅，他們更擔心的反而是全球激烈競爭所帶來的生存壓力。
